How can it still be prudent in times of the “Eastern Europeanisation of the streets” to maintain your own fleet? Why build your own warehousing facilities when you can rent them? Why buy when you can lease? 

We think differently: own resources correspond with our desire for long-term thinking, independence and strategic planning. Our high level of expectations can be better served with our own vehicle fleet. For example, this concept of quality is underlined by the topic of ‘Green Logistics’: every one of our trucks fulfils the Euro 5 emissions standards as a minimum, and our fleet is used almost exclusively in inter-modal transport. IT-supported route optimisation and driver training ensure low CO₂ emissions, and company-internal training and processes contribute to protecting the environment. 

Our processes and equipment comply with the ORGANIC standard. Our multifunctional logistics warehouses can achieve a neutral CO₂footprint through the use of geothermal energy and solar power. Simultaneously, we fulfil the strict food standards pursuant to IFS Logistics 2.2 and have been repeatedly rated outstanding for warehouse cleanliness.

This level of sustainability in terms of protecting the environment and operational planning is by no means commonplace among all logistics service providers.
